Tafaro
John Tafaro has been in the financial
services industry for all of his 30+ years in
business. Soon after attending what is now St.
John’s University’s Peter Tobin College
of Business and then New York University’s
Graduate School of Business, John became a member
of the New York Mercantile Exchange where he worked
for the next 20 years. He entered the mortgage
industry in 2000 as a loan originator and soon
became a leading producer of mortgages for all
of Bergen and Hudson Counties.
John joined Secure Lending Solutions in 2008 attracted
by the outstanding qualities it maintains. According
to John, SLS is the complete package; excellence
in service, a complete portfolio of products,
a Direct FHA Lender, loans funded in house, very
competitive rates, and a constant spirit of professionalism
and integrity. John’s goals are to design
and implement the most appropriate, cost effective

John has lived in Bergen County
with his wife and family for the past 26 years.
